National Read A Book Day!

Books read - 1…. Books added to the TBR - 10….. The math isn’t pathing, but we love it anyway!

The reason I love this day is that most everyone can relate and participate! Read alone or with a friend - it doesn’t matter just read!

I wanted to portray just how high a TBR (To Be Read) pile can get and how it can feel like a marathon to get to the bottom. I originally wanted to place my figure in a library setting sitting surrounded by bookselves but being up in the clouds seemed more on the nose. This illustration makes me want to pick up that book…how about you?
